Minutes

Admin

• We have lost the password to the Co-op e-banking account.
  • MR to ask Andrew Larssen to contact the Co-op and change the e-banking password.
• JC and SM are now registered directors of the company.
• JC and DN have filed the VAT return.

Meetings and talks

• There are 4 talks recorded on the PA. SM reports he has 2 on his laptop. MR has 2 from last year at home.
  • DN to collate the available MP3s of talks, and get them online.
  • DN to investigate podcast channels for the monthly talks.
• We will man a stand at the PHP NW conference.
• MR to get details of the Perl/PHP joint meetup on 8 October prior to September's meeting.

Conference

• DN still intends to do the 2009 conference videos.
• Kensington Town Hall was suggested as a possible venue.
  • JC to investigate venues for the conference.
• The call for papers will start as soon as possible and end on 15 October.
  • DN to set up a conference 2010 website with a call for papers based on last year's form.
• SM has spoken to sponsors. Microsoft, Oracle, and Ibuildings are all keen for premium sponsorship.
  • MR to send SM last year's sponsorship documents.
• DN to get access to the conference google docs to everyone.
