There was brief discussion on the discussion mailing list about a desire for more non-technical talks and suggestions/offers on topics not directly related to PHP are very welcome.
[edit] Potential talks
Please add your details to the list below if you're willing to give a talk on some subject. Again, you can use the ~~~ shortcut to add your name.

- Gareth Fiford will aim to do a talk on running Oracle with PHP.
- Andrew Betts has a talk on PHP code optimisations, if that's of any interest.
- Richard Harrison has offered a talk on streams, perhaps in October or November.
- Simon Harris could do something on mobile web development, off the back of the php|architect article, if people are interested
- Jason Engelbrecht offered talks on caching with Akamai, SOAS, MySQL clustering, and other stuff I can't remember right now.
